Dr Samprasad Vinod
Doctor Samprasad Vinod is a Patron of YHET. He has been the director of the Dr Vinod yoga clinic since 1975. He is also director of Mahrashi Vineyard research foundation. He has reached the highest state of consciousness and is a well respected international Guru. He is the author of 14 books and has written hundreds of articles. One of his books was the ‘nine secrets of successful meditation’. Dr Vinod lives and teaches yoga as a way of life for inner transformation and developing the right attitude towards life. He is a well known international speaker and advisor to many yoga Institute. He has been the recipient of several awards for his outstanding contribution to the field of yoga. Dr Mukund V Bhole
Doctor Mukund Bhole was a Patron of YHET for several years and sadly passed away in April 2021. His work for many years centered around Experiential Yoga also known as Yoga Anubhava. You can read more about him and his work here.
Sue Eddy
Sue is a Patron of YHET, having been involved with the trust for many years. Sue has worked for over 30yrs as a physiotherapist, practising acupuncture, and specialising in respiratory, and latterly in Motor Neurone Disease and palliative care at a hospice. This year, after the ebb and flow of 35 years yoga practice, Sue is embarking on a teacher training course, weaving her Western medical and Chinese medicine knowledge, with yoga’s wisdom and depth. Sue describes it as a personal pilgrimage, far beyond what she had envisaged at the beginning.
Gill Ansty
Gill recently joined our board of Trustees. Gill holds the Yoga for Health Foundation General and Remedial Certificates, BWY Diploma and Sadhana Mala Teaching and Yoga Therapy certificates. She is an Association of Yoga Studies (AYS) practitioner, previously known as viniyoga, with whom she continues to study and is CNHC registered. She has been practising and teaching yoga for over 25 years. Gill runs Canoe Yoga with her husband, Philip. You can find out more about Gill here.
David Cosserat
David also recently joined our board of Trustees. David holds Diplomas in Yoga, Indian Head Massage and Touch for Health (Kinesiology) and Laughter Yoga. At university he qualified in Film Documentary BA (Hons) and TESOL. And as a Yoga teacher he specialises in Yoga for Sleep (Yoga Nidra) Pranayama (breath work) and the Yoga of Sound (Mantra) both very healing and nourishing. David is director of The Inner Healing School of Yoga, a family run business for over 40 years. The school is based on the philosophy of Yoga is for all, regardless of age, sex, or religious background. Yoga, when properly taught is a therapy which opens you to a higher level of fitness and radiant health. You can find out more about David here.
Paul Blissett
Paul has the Yoga for Health Foundation General Training Scheme and Remedial Training Scheme certificates. He has studied with teachers from many different yoga traditions and these diverse influences colour his own teaching. He teaches predominantly mixed ability yoga classes and has also taught yoga to adults with learning difficulties as well as classes with an emphasis on mental health and well-being. Since November 2016 he has been accredited to teach yoga in prison on completing the Prison Phoenix Trust Teaching Yoga in Prison Course. You can find out more about Paul here.
